I write for young people and adults. My novels are character-driven but commercial; play with structure or point of view; are hopeful but not afraid of hard things; and have an element of the weird, speculative or mysterious.

On Submission
WHEN WE WERE STARS, a lightly speculative YA contemporary, won the SCBWI SF South Golden Gate Conference Award for Novel and was a MG/YA Finalist at the SCBWI SF South Editor and Agents Day 2025.
Works in Progress
A contemporary novel for adults, literary-leaning and with thriller elements, set in the present day with flashbacks to the 90’s dotcom boom.
An upper MG mystery about a cursed object that goes missing from a museum in London, co-written with Amanda Conran.
Both are inspired by real objects that have centuries-long backstories full of adventures, danger, dreams and ghosts.
When Not Writing
I love travel and languages. I speak Spanish, study French, and attempt travel versions of any other language of the places I get to go. “Hikes to Hallelujahs” is my non-travel obsession that feels like travel. My husband, dogs, and I explore the trails of the beautiful place we call home (Sonoma County, California), which I’m having fun documenting here.
I have a passion for working with young people, for education, and in the arts. I produced and curated the first seven TEDxSonomaCounty events, and served on the governing boards of Chop’s Teen Club, Sonoma County Rises, and Sonoma Country Day School.
